I really, really<\/strong>, really<\/strong><\/em> need to stop logging raids and then going through the parses.<\/p>\n

I really do.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

Because it makes me angry.<\/p>\n

Last night on Hodir, I set up a Blessing of dammit!<\/span> Hand<\/strong> of Sacrifice\/Pain Suppression rotation for the Frozen Blows portion of the fight.<\/p>\n

It would go thusly:<\/p>\n

First Frozen Blows: Me<\/p>\n

Second: Prot Pally in Healing Gear<\/p>\n

Third: Holy Paladin<\/p>\n

Fourth: Disc Priest<\/p>\n

Fifth: Guardian Spirit or back to me if HoSac was on CD, then restart the whole thing.<\/p>\n

I’m going to say that I wasn’t perfect on the night. I wasn’t. I accidentally hit a priest with Hand of Sacrifice on a Flash Freeze instead of the tank on Frozen Blows on an attempt. I laughed at myself for that one, but kept the damn tank up when FB came on.<\/p>\n

But… looking at the parse… Oh, God, why do I torture myself?<\/p>\n

\n0:01’07.070 Hodir Frozen Blows was removed from Hodir.<\/p>\n

You will note that it was a mere two seconds before the tank gained Hand of Sacrifice. And that meant that HoSac was up for the full 12 seconds while Frozen Blows was active.<\/p>\n

SECOND:
\n0:01’48.367 Hodir gains Frozen Blows.
\n0:01’59.274 Tank gains Hand of Sacrifice.
\n0:02’00.085 Tank’s Hand of Sacrifice causes 0 damage to Prot Pally In Healer’s Clothing.
\n0:02’08.461 Hodir Frozen Blows was removed from Hodir.
\n0:02’11.362 Prot Pally In Healer’s Clothing’s Hand of Sacrifice was removed from Tank.<\/p>\n

You will note that the pally is 11 seconds LATE in casting HoSac. And the blessing lasts the full 12 seconds, but 3 of those seconds aren’t during Frozen Blows.<\/p>\n

THIRD:
\n0:02’24.230 Tank gains Hand of Sacrifice.
\n0:02’25.821 Tank’s Hand of Sacrifice causes 6936 damage to Holy Paladin.
\n0:02’36.303 Holy Paladin’s Hand of Sacrifice was removed from Tank.
\n0:02’37.723 Hodir gains Frozen Blows.
\n0:02’57.768 Hodir Frozen Blows was removed from Hodir.<\/p>\n

… epic FAIL. EPIC FAIL. I don’t even have the WORDS for how epic a fail that is right there. Then again, I DID cast it on a priest at another point in time, but it’s not representative of my play. THIS is representative of this guy’s.<\/p>\n

FOURTH:
\n0:03’28.717 Hodir gains Frozen Blows.
\n0:03’30.028 Tank gains Pain Suppression.
\n0:03’38.092 Disc Priest’s Pain Suppression was removed from Tank.
\n0:03’48.825 Hodir Frozen Blows was removed from Hodir.<\/p>\n

Perfect. 8 seconds, 40% damage reduction, that’s beautiful.<\/p>\n

FIFTH:

\n0:04’27.164 Tank gains Hand of Sacrifice.
\n0:04’39.319 Madrana Hand of Sacrifice was removed from Tank.
\n0:04’43.095 Hodir Frozen Blows was removed from Hodir.<\/p>\n

I was a little late in casting it, but the buff lasted 12 seconds and was entirely throughout the Frozen Blows.<\/p>\n

SIXTH:

\n0:05’29.248 Hodir Frozen Blows was removed from Hodir.<\/p>\n

That’s right. Nothing happened.<\/p>\n

SEVENTH:
\n0:05’54.302 Hodir gains Frozen Blows.
\n0:06’08.392 Tank gains Hand of Sacrifice.
\n0:06’09.123 Tank Hand of Sacrifice causes 1178 damage to Holy Paladin.
\n0:06’13.526 Holy Paladin Hand of Sacrifice was removed from Tank.
\n0:06’14.246 Hodir Frozen Blows was removed from Hodir.<\/p>\n

Hand of Sacrifice only allows 100% of the caster’s health to be transferred to them in damage, so that only lasted 5 instead of 12 seconds. But he was still, oh, 14 seconds late on the cast!<\/p>\n

EIGHTH:
