I looked up the new talent trees on Wowhead (warning: these may change at any time) and, apart from being underwhelmed at our options in prot and ret, I wanted to mention something.<\/p>\n<p>They nerfed Illumination.<\/p>\n<p>At 5\/5 points, it now gives you 100% chance to get\u00a0<em>50% of the spell&#8217;s base cost back<\/em>. That&#8217;s right, 50%. Crits are no longer free, folks!<\/p>\n<p>They did give us a talent (leading up to Illumination) which gives us mana regen while casting, so that\u00a0<em>should<\/em> help to offset things. Hopefully. Maybe.<\/p>\n<p>Now, again, this could change. But I think this was a very deliberate and mindful change, so I think it&#8217;s unlikely to change again going forward.
